The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services for the Mission Police Department is charged with strengthening our City's quality of life through vigorous community participation, resident involvement in neighborhood and community organizations. Our goal is to establish and maintain a positive working partnership with our residents while enforcing the laws and providing a safe environment through advertising, marketing, and public relations, publications, and special events.

The Community Oriented Policing Services will provide venues that will be both educational and family oriented throughout the year such as the Crime Prevention Safety, Health Fair, neighborhood block parties, etc.
